This new Level 5 game presents the return of the puzzle master Professor Layton as well as his assistant Luke. In the third installment of the game Layton and Luke find themselves draw into the future to solve the puzzles set forth by a future version of Luke. A host of other characters return such a former Heiress Flora, as well as Laytons wicked archival Don Paolo.
As they journey into the Future Layton and Luke are joined by some new faces as well such as a mini-game playing parrot, the Professors old sweet heart, and the grand daughter of Granny Riddleton, Puzzlene who will take over the task of collecting missed puzzles along the way..
While working their way through the games various puzzles the heroes must also find the missing prime minister who was kidnapped by the inventor of a time machine, Dr. Alain Stahngun. They also find themselves on the search for Laytons future self and discover the mystery behind Don Paolos hatred towards the good Professor.
The search for Prime Minister Bill Hawk will lead Professor Layton and a duo of Lukes through hours of mind tingling puzzles as the attempt to track down the slippery kidnapper, who just happens to be the someone who sent them back in time in the first place. They will meet a woman named Claire who knows Layton rather well and her sister Salias who will offer them help out of a few sticky situations.
Professor Layton and the Lost Future involves more than 165 brand new puzzles as well as explore much of Professor Laytons past as well as bring an old sweetheart back into the picture. It features the return of the standard logic puzzles, brain teasers, and holds a few new surprises in store for players as well. Using the time machine you will guide the Professor through hours of mind boggling time twisting adventure heading towards the grand finale.
